Memorial Day

We remembered our troops, and are always thankful for the sacrifices made by them. On Memorial Day, Connor showed his appreciation for our colors.

Peanut Post: Jumping with Erin Rose!

We got to host a bouncy twister in our backyard for Jack's graduation party! Run, run, run, jump, jump, jump....it was wonderful!

Bean Bytes: Gimme, Gimme, Gimme

Thanks big bro for feeding me those yummy bananas!

Garden is a Growin!

A lot of rain has been pretty helpful in the garden so far. We have been enjoying mass amounts of cilantro, baby spinach, loose leaf lettuce and romaine. Basil and snap peas are coming soon!

At the Zoo....again....

Spent a nice Saturday morning during the holiday at the zoo. We rode the carousel, saw the monkeys and then stopped for some yummy ice cream before naptime! MMMMMMMMM

Happy 35th Anniversary!

Mimi and Papa celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary with a little shin dig at the cabins. Connor was not short on things to keep him entertained. There was nee-nees, watermelons, cousins and the ever popular nude-puddle-dancing! Finn even enjoyed all of the action at his first ever cabin party!

Captain's Blog: Sheesh! Where to Begin!

It's been awhile...we haven't been able to take a breath with being so busy around the Lauchard house. As usual, Dad apologizes for the lack of posting out here...let's see what the family has been up to.

The first and most obvious post is an update to the mudroom. You think I've just been sitting around here idle?

Go here to see the last update...just to catch up! http://bit.ly/k9Axk3

Now, here is the mostly finished product:

Captain's Blog: 4th Wedding Anniversary

Lacey and I got a nice one night break from the everyday humdrum's of parenthood and got to 'grow down' for awhile. We spent a day/night in Cincinnati with the Reds and a wonderful restaurant called Nada. We highly recommend that if you go to Nada, you let the wait staff customize your dinner with a series of samplings...it was amazing!

The view from our upgraded room...top floor baby! It was a dreary day to start out before we headed to the game...

Game time! Lo and behold, the sun started shining!

Starting pitcher for your Cincinnati Reds...Johnny Cueto!

Funny guys sitting behind us...

Bounce House

On Friday, we took advantage of some free time to stop by World of Bounce. You will notice a theme in the pictures...that theme being 'blurry Connor'. We had 5 people mention to us how Connor has a lot of energy. 3 of them being workers that see kids running day in and day out. Finally, proof that Mom and Dad being tired isn't because of laziness! This 2 hours of play was ended by an epic meltdown because Connor didn't want to stop running and playing. The staff felt so bad for Dad that they gave Connor a balloon...which only reduced the meltdown to whimpering and whining!
