MooCow Update: Ring Leader Found!

After multiple attempts at keeping those wily cows within their given confines, we have identified the Osama Bin Laden of the group. Local law enforcement official Cpt. Ken Pottmeyer was quoted as saying, "their communication network was surprising, stretching over all parts of Ohio". Cpt. Pottmeyer feels pretty confident that with this individual apprehended, the moo cows will fall in line and be a little less rambunctious.

Magnum: It has arrived!

Remember when we saw 'Blue Steel'? Well, it was an improbable journey...one that wasn't expected to be finished for some time. However, no one anticipated the sheer will power and determination of young Avery Pottmeyer. In a world of credit crisis, political uncertainty, severe weather, and mean people.........we bring you...................

Cameron's Din-Din

What a Saturday! Breakfast with the Schuman's and dinner with the Cremean's. Travis, Audra, Lacey and I headed out to Cameron Mitchel's first restaurant (a first for all of us). We had a great time and the food is highly recommended! Hot & sour crab cakes, lobster perogies, goat cheese 'beignets', halibut, salmon, walleye, filet mignon.......and yes, we were able to walk out on our own. Thanks again Audra and Travis, it was a great Saturday night!

Captain's Blog: Baby Seats and Breakfast Burrito's

On Saturday morning, we turned our once cool, hip car's into baby transportation devices. We went to the local fire department and got both car seat bases installed. After passing baby seat safety installation...we headed over to First Watch for a little bit of breakfast. We ran into our friend's Elliot and Alicia and their daughter Layla. Layla had chocolate chip pancakes and looked as if Santa and the Easter Bunny both delivered them personally. Myself? Well......I have to go with the Burrito Vera Cruz.....mmmmmmmmm.

Week 36: Heading Home!

Lacey is in week 36 and only days away from....FULL TERM! While very uncomfortable, and lacking sleep she is maintaining her smiles and only occasionally "roughing up" Dad and Matilda. Mya has learned to laugh and point as Mattie and I cower in the corner......(send help!)

Windy Video

It's a Twista! It's a Twista!

WOW! That is some serious wind out there. One of our trees split in half and ended up covering the whole road, not to mention another tree at the neighbor's. Bring out the saw-z-all and do some public service Ryan!

The Final Shower

This past weekend, I traveled to Marietta for a family baby shower thrown by my three sisters in law - Brandi, Kristin and Stacey. Thank you ladies! The day turned out perfect and we enjoyed great food, games and gifts outside at my moms house (thank you mom for hosting). For the game, everyone made a scrapbook page and I got to vote on my favorite page. It's the cutest baby book - I can't wait to fill it with pics! Thanks again Stacs, Kristin and Brandi for the BEST final shower!!!

Sunday Bathtub Work

After 5 years of home construction, there have been a lot of things put down the tub such as paint, and other abrasive materials. Little did I know that while I was fixing the rest of the house, I was screwing up where we try and get clean. While it was "clean", it didn't look as such and therefore had a bad mental affect. I was able to find a product that did a very inexpensive, but nice job in refinishing the tub.

September 11, 2001

I flew home on September 11, and was boarding my first plane at about the time the first attack occurred. I hope that everyone else reading this, or living their lives took a minute to say a prayer for those families that lost a loved one, and also give thanks to those members of our armed forces that are out defending our freedoms. Regardless of party affiliation, ethnicity, or religion, this was a terrible day in our history and should be mourned and shown the proper respect.

Lifestyles of the Rich and Ryan

The conference was at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel (Waldorf-Astoria). The grounds were beautiful and it was 'muy caliente'! I wish my wife and I could have been lounging at the awesome pool rather than listening to how companies use data in great ways...but that was pretty cool too.

Phone-X

I found out last Friday that I would be heading to Phoenix last Monday morning for a Business Intelligence conference. It started Monday afternoon after a couple of flights at the golf course where my team won the scramble with 9 under par, and I won the long drive contest. I almost made it a trifecta with closest to the pin, but lost out to a 17 handicapper who got his 3rd hole in one....where's the justice!

Blog about the Blog

As promised to multiple people, this is the 101st blog entry. This has taken some time to achieve........actually hardly any time at all. Hope you all enjoyed the first 100, the next 1,000,000,000,000 will be even more time consuming!

Last Swim of the Season Already?

In what could be the last swim of the season, we enjoyed as much pool time as we could handle. Luckily we had guests to keep us entertained.

CaaaaaannnnonBalllllll!!!!!!

Turned out to be a 7.7 from the judges.

Child abuse....but whose the child?

Off to Puerto Vallarta!

Up bright and early, the two newlyweds were off and running to Columbus to catch their flight down to Puerto Vallarta. I've only heard good things about the city, so we hope you guys have a great time!

Sunday Football

It was someone's bright idea to have a morning football game on Sunday after the wedding. While I love football, it's been about a year since I last used those muscles. Luckily, I am Muy Bueno, so no worries. If you click on the image, you can see a diagram of one of my patented play.

It Doesn't Get Any Better Than This!

Trust me Derrick.....it does....it gets a LOT better! Luckily this little beauty didn't make it into the introductions of the wedding party. Nice save Stacks!

Congratulation Alex & Kristen

This holiday weekend not only brought an extra day off, but also brought the wedding of Alex & Kristen! We had a very good time at the rehearsal dinner, and the next day at the actual wedding/reception. Kristen looked great, Alex was calm and little Mackenzie did a great job as a flower girl. Lacey and I were in the wedding, so until I get sent some more pictures these were all I have at the moment.
