60 Seconds...tick, tick, tick, tick

Connor's first interview clearly shows that we will need to work on his marketability. There are going to be questions that you don't like, but you need to answer them with as much patience as you can.

It's My Park!

Just a stones throw from our house is my new favorite park. There's swings, jungle gyms, walking paths by the river and lots of grass for Mattie and Mya to play (I mean pee) on.

Mission Impossible I: The Living Room

Well, the first remodel on our list (besides some work on the outside cedar siding) is to get the wallpaper down and smooth the walls. After that, we can begin to think about the wood cabinets, baseboards, windows, etc. and what to do with them, if anything. The wallpaper is proving to be what I like to call 'grumpy'. Connor loves this room because he feels like a little ant. Look how small the little guy looks!

Still Unpacking

Although we haven't gotten to all of the boxes yet, we were lucky to have found the one at the bottom of the pile that contained CONNOR! It's definitely late, but we wanted to thank everyone that helped us on moving day! Thank You!

Peanut Post: Still Here....Only Funnier!

My new house is great and I am learning to eat lots of new food like scrambled eggs, tomatoes and my new favorite...NANNER BREAD! Mom and Dad also caught me standing by myself. Other favorite things are crawling over the dogs and....oooh the best thing....MY ROOM IS HUGE-MONGOUS! I also am beginning to think that I'm one hilarious little man! Mooooowhahahahahahahaha!

I Say My Goodbye

For the last 5 years, my house has been many things:
~ It has been my friend's house;
~ It has been my first house;
~ It has been the testing ground for my home improvement skills;
~ It has been the testing ground for how much beer could be drank;
~ It has been the first place in which I lived with a woman, Lacey;
~ It has been the place where Lacey got me Matilda;
~ It has been the place where I proposed to Lacey;
~ It has been the place in which Lacey brought home Mya;
~ It has been the place in which Lacey became my wife;
~ It has been the place in which Lacey and I made a home;
~ It has been the place where we welcomed our son Connor;
~ It has been the place where Connor spent his first year of his life;
This house will always be remembered for lots of firsts, lots of laughs, and lots of growing. We have now outgrown the house and will be moving on, but it will always be our first and we will miss it. We only hope that it can provide the same for the next family, and the next, and the next. Goodbye house, it's been real!
