The Fishing Continues

Corbin threw his hat into the fishing ring with this beauty from his camping trip over the weekend. Apparently sarcasm isn't your only talent Corbin! :-)

The Cruiser's Stop By

Fresh off a 4 day cruise Berlin, Deb and Brandy swung by to say hello before heading down to Charleston for a few days. Baby brain was rampant and conversation was challenging as sentences such as "How was your room?" came out as "How was your.....um....thing"? Be safe on your trip back guys!

Week 24: Gettin Punchy

Week 24 has brought Dad's first experience with getting punched by his son. I was able to feel a little whack a few days ago and it was...AWESOME! News flash Ryan....this is REAL! :-)

Jack "Fisher"

Nice job Jack, that is one heck of a fish! My nephew Jack down in Arkansas lounging around over the summer. Get a job! :-)

Ryan's Review: Indiana Jones

I was obviously a bit late on seeing the newest Indiana Jones movie, but Lacey went with me tonight to enjoy a Tuesday viewing. I'll cut to the chase...it wasn't the greatest. I can overlook some of the over-the-top scenes in the first 3/4 of the movie as this was staple Jones...but the last 1/4 of the movie was clearly b-a-d. I was all in all disappointed with the movie and will be quite satisfied with keeping my first 3 as the only IJ's movies that I know. Way to go Lucas....way to go....2 great franchises just absolutely crapped on.

So I was mowing.......

The grass was pretty high and I wasn't paying attention....I swear I didn't see Mya until it was too late.....into the mower she went! It's o.k. though...everything turned out all right...sorta. A before and after shot.

Wrong Rabbit Mattie, WRONG RABBIT!

Not quite as graceful a getaway as the real rabbit would have done, but I did get away!

Week 23: Back from New York

Well, he's over a pound now and almost a foot long! Apparently the lil' guy was uber-excited to be in New York as he was performing baby olympics on Monday night. I still haven't felt him move, but am anxiously awaiting!

Ryan's First Father's Day

Since I'm not really a father yet, I didn't deserve a gift for Father's day...but I got one anyway. "Cooking for Baby"....the first book that I have that deals with what to do with the lil' guy after he's born. That cover must sell a lot of books...peas...mmmmmmm! Thanks Lace!

Rabbits tougher than Tigers?

The Tiger Lily's are finally blooming after escaping the clutches of the Lauchard's very own Bug's Bunny. The rabbit that eats most of the lilies is the same one that plays tag with Mya. As soon as I catch the varmint on camera, we'll show the world that he does exist! Be vewwwy, vewwwy quiet; I'm hunting wabbit!

Pot Garden....not so "Up in Smoke"

3 out of 4 ain't bad! The cilantro didn't take in it's pot, but as you can see, the chives, basil, and jalapeƱo peppers are cruisin' along.

City folks, "Not So" Country ways

Well, Ryan apparently didn't prepare the soil very well this year so the garden appears to be about out of nutrients. I need to probably get some manure from the Ken-ster and "spice" up that soil a bit. At this point, it looks like we will have a few radishes to eat...and not much else.

Another Wedding!

The Lauchard's attended our cousin's wedding on Saturday night and wanted to wish the bride and groom good luck and congratulations! Thanks for including us in you day! (Ryan left the camera at home...so pictures to come....)

Week 22: Back from Chicago

Lacey just got back last night from a few days in Chicago with the Bean. First item on the list? Another photo (sigh)!

Pupdate: Things escalated fast!

Most of the day was spent lounging around with the occasional bone chewing and a bit of horse play. Unfortunately before we knew it, things got out of hand and our bed EXPLODED! We swear....it wasn't us!

Nice welcome home....

I was a little worried Ryan was out gallivanting all weekend, while I was in Marietta for my sister in law, Stacey's, baby shower. To my surprise, I came home to the most fabulous baby room! It's so much cuter than I could have ever hoped! I knew I wanted pale yellow (sunshine) walls but Ryan added the coolest oatmeal stripes and baby blue polka dots. Somehow he came up with the pattern in visio. Maybe he should have been a designer??? Also, take a look at the new ceiling fan, blinds, closet doors and closet shelving system. Ryan was busy!

I'm going out of town for the next three day's, wonder what I will come home to on Wed. night! I'm a lucky girl :->

While the Lacey Cat is Away (cont'd).......

Well after the Laker's game, the strip club, hanging out with the Real World cast and huntin' varmit, this is what a true Saturday is all about. A little mexican dinner, and two 32 year old men playing some guitar hero (although conveniently, only Tip is shown).

While the Lacey Cat is Away.......

Ryan will play! It was a busy Friday evening, but I knew I only had so much time to have a night of my own...you know....to do what I want to do. I posted a quick overview of my trip via pictures below...have a good weekend!

21 (week) Jumpstreet

Week 21 and we have no dishes on the counter this time. As parents we are becoming responsible enough to do our dishes.

Primed and Ready

2 days, 2 coats, 0 red!

Pot Garden

Whoa, whoa, whoa....easy! A garden IN pots, flower pots! What were you thinking? The chives are growing at a furious pace while the cilantro, basil, and peppers are taking their sweet/hot time.

Pupdate: Halloween in June sucks!

The weekend was great and we are just hangin in the yard! A lot of work was done today by mom and day, but mostly they focused on scaring the living doggie pooh out of us by putting on Halloween masks...running outside and acting like dang lunatics!

Oh crap! Not again!

Under Construction!

Another room in the Lauchard household is under construction. We started on the baby room today...took out the molding, closet shelves and hung a new door to keep the paint smell away from Lacey. Next steps....remove the red with some primer, figure out a shelving system and hang new sliding closet doors.

Another Memorial Tournament Done

As the PGA leaves Columbus for another year, our Rhododendrum "Rhodo" says goodbye by showing it's goor-jus blooms!
