The Storm Began So Calmly....

The snow started falling quickly and heavily and covered the ground (again) within minutes. Looking out the back door revealed the most unexpected picture...deer! Literally in the yard behind ours, there were 2 does just hanging out and enjoying the weather.

Then came the better news! Our furnace died and we were without heat for a couple of days. Luckily Grandma and Grandpa Ramage took us in while we got a new one...a WARMER new one!

Breakfast at Barcelona's

A lazy Sunday morning was made more enjoyable by some yummy food, smooth coffee, and a fresh blanket of snow....oh yeah...and the Barce's! We had a great time catching up and Connor enjoyed chillin' with Jamie and doing race car laps with Barce. Thanks again!

Peanut Post: My First Birthday Party!

Not Yet NBA Material...

We'll just start slow for now, holding the ball for more than 3 seconds is a big win! The little man is definitely beginning to enjoy gaining control of his limbs and reducing the amount of times he whacks himself in the head with a random arm flail!

Daydreaming

What do they wonder, what do they think about? We'll never know, but it's sure fun to watch!

Camera Learning

I'm starting to figure out some more with this camera. It's pretty nice. I was working on black and white pictures and got a couple really good ones.

Peanut Post: Playing With Mommy!

Pupdate: Confessions of a Snow Dog

I really, really like the snow. I especially like to bury myself in it and try and eat shovel-fulls of it! I like it because I get to hang with dad without my brother Connor and my sister Mya...stay inside you babies!

Peanut Post: Tummy Time...Shocking!

It's been a pretty good morning. I started out the day playing on my new (old) activity mat. My favorite toy, the sun, keeps breaking so Dad had to call to get a new one. I wasn't prepared for the big caterpillar though...that was new...and quite startling!

My new school also gave Dad a new idea on a more comfortable way to do my tummy time. I still have to do the other poopy way so that I can try and crawl. :-(

O.K. Dad, get the camera out of my face please...wait...what's Mom doing with that bottle? Mmmmmmm.....bottle.

Pupdate: Helloooooo!

It's been awhile, so Mya and I wanted to say 'Woof' to everyone. Things are going pretty well, we're playing with Dad as much as possible and we're getting lots of chew bones to keep us busy. I'm so embarrassed that the last time I was on I was stuck under the porch! Everyone makes mistakes, so let's just forget about it.

Captain's Blog: Fantasy Football

This year in Fantasy Football, Haren and I ended up winning the league thanks to a huge final game by De'Angelo Williams (on our team), and a big game from Greg Olsen (someone else's team) we were victorious and won a nice bit of change. With it, I bought myself (and the family) a new camera. We needed something a little faster than a point and shoot and I got a great deal on it!

Mon Dieu, Saboteur!

I received a very nice phone call while at work from some family members that were willing to spend a few moments with Mattie and Mya. They must not have locked up the house very well when they left as someone else came in to sabotage our needs list! Where do I find 'Poop Tickets'!?!

Attn: Victoria Secret Co-Workers

I have marked Lacey's lunch bag with a inconspicuous message.... I am trying to make sure she is not dumping her packed lunch from her husband for the tasty treats in the VS Cafe. Please let me know if you don't see the marked lunch bag. It's a bit hard to spot, but I think you will notice (both sides please).

Oh, and please make her wait until 10:50 to eat her lunch. Thanks! Just to be sure, I have also shown the contents of her lunch in case anyone wants to trade goodies.

Captain's Blog: Star Date January 6, 2009

Today was Connor's second day of school. We are trying to see if we can get on any kind of schedule, but this 5:30/5:45 stuff is tough. The dude wakes up pretty alert and happy at 6 and mom and I schlep around the house for the next hour keeping him busy, drinking coffee, eating breakfast, feeding Connor, packing his stuff and then walking to the car. Dad was solo on the drop off today and then thanks to the driving skills of the Buckeyes (probably bleary-eyed from crying over the loss last night), Dad got to work about an hour and 15 minutes later! It's worth it.
