It's still amazing to me that you can set out to do a simple, mundane chore, and at any moment you get utterly blindsided by something that you just didn't expect. We've had constant heat and no rain and when I walked out with the garbage I expected to be hit with the nasty heat and haze of a July night. Clearly I was wrong...my life is good.
