Jury Duty

My first trial started off as I would expect....opening statements...prosecution presents it's first witness, but then a long lunch break. After sitting in the juror room until 3:00 p.m. we found out that the defendant spit on a witness, then accepted a plea bargain. Back to the jury pool!

Someone roll me onto my bed so I don't get my head caught in the door! Why does Mya look so refreshed? Oh yeah...princess Mya was curled up in the Compound Headquarters.

A Fourth of July Fog

Not the prettiest 4th of July weekend we've had in recent memory, but it'll have to do. Looks ominous for 7:30 a.m. doesn't it?

Recipe: Kenny's "Green" Pizza

For those that don't know it....Ken is quite the conservationist! This recipe calls quite simply for the following:

1. Some sort of dough (Italian bread seen here)
2. Pizza sauce
3. Cheese
4. Anything that is left over from the "topping table" including onions, zucchini, pepperoni, sausage and more!

Now if the pizza doesn't seem to be as appetizing as you would hope....slice it into pieces and call it Bruschetta!

Pupdate: My first roundup!

My dad didn't tell me until we got to the compound that there were 4 new friends...COWS! They were quick and did what they wanted to do for the first 1/2 hour or so. I couldn't let that happen, so I sucked it up and herded them suckers! Check it out!

Horseplay

The horses were a little more loving this time around. Me thinks that they thinks that me has some oats! Disappointment ensued.

Car's packed and we're on our way back down to the Compound! Weather outlook is suspect at this point, but one of us will be warm and cozy inside....guess who?

Captain's Blog: Finally updating from the wedding!

After taking my sweet time, I am finally able to post the wedding photos from my cousins wedding. We have my father and my aunt, the husband and wife of "old", the bride, the groom, the vows, the sealed with a kiss, and of course the after party with a bit of the 'oke!

Week 25: Smugglin' a Basketball

Lookin good at week 25! It was quite cold and rainy on Monday so we got to see Big Red rear it's wintry head! I may be biased, but I suuuure thank she be pretty!
