Lacey's 30th Birthday

It was hard work keeping it from the wife, but we pulled it off! Dinner at Shoku followed by drinks at The Elevator. It was nice to see Lacey surprised and with a couple of hours off of Mom duty. Thanks to everyone for driving and hanging out with us on her special day!

I spent Valentines Day afternoon with my good buddy Rupert. He doesn't talk much, but that's o.k. Sometimes you just need a listener! After we relaxed, I strapped into the old captain's chair again and planned my attack on the two giants that live here...smile so they don't think you're up to something.

Crazy Weather, Crazy Night!

In an effort to get Mr. Connor to sleep past 3:00 a.m., we changed the routine a bit by keeping the little booger up until 8! Luckily, it was a cuddly night as the weather was a bit hairy. Here is a little pic-ography of the weather after we got home, and the fun time we had leading up to bathtime, then snoozeland.

Peanut Post: Getting Closer!

Hi everyone! My new school is going very well, all the teachers really like me (cause I'm handsome) and I get to play all day long. When I get home, I get to hang with Dad for an hour and we try and do stuff like fly, play with toys, and even more tummy time. I'm getting pretty good at the tummy part, but now I need to start trying to use these arm and leg thingies!

Where are the Lauchards?

Don't worry everyone, we are still here and still trying to put some posts out here to keep everyone up to date. There aren't any pictures to share because it's been too cold, too sick, too unhappy.

To fill you in on that last part, we attempted to have a guys weekend down at the cabins last weekend. Needless to say, mother nature was a B....ad lady. We slept in 20 degree weather the first night which, if you haven't done that before...don't! We did get some good brush clearing done though and managed to eat some fine meals provided by Big Ken.

This week has been rough as I have gotten sick from the cold and am living/working through a NyQuil haze. I'm hoping that I'm at the end of the illness and that the C-man doesn't get any of it.

Speaking of the C-man, he started at his new daycare this week and seems to be doing pretty good there. Lacey has been dropping him off in the morning which gives them a bit more time to hang out. Today was not a good day for the dude because he went to the doctor and got all shot up, so tonight he's Mr. Anti-Happy.
