On Saturday morning, we turned our once cool, hip car's into baby transportation devices. We went to the local fire department and got both car seat bases installed. After passing baby seat safety installation...we headed over to First Watch for a little bit of breakfast. We ran into our friend's Elliot and Alicia and their daughter Layla. Layla had chocolate chip pancakes and looked as if Santa and the Easter Bunny both delivered them personally. Myself? Well......I have to go with the Burrito Vera Cruz.....mmmmmmmmm.

I flew home on September 11, and was boarding my first plane at about the time the first attack occurred. I hope that everyone else reading this, or living their lives took a minute to say a prayer for those families that lost a loved one, and also give thanks to those members of our armed forces that are out defending our freedoms. Regardless of party affiliation, ethnicity, or religion, this was a terrible day in our history and should be mourned and shown the proper respect.
I found out last Friday that I would be heading to Phoenix last Monday morning for a Business Intelligence conference. It started Monday afternoon after a couple of flights at the golf course where my team won the scramble with 9 under par, and I won the long drive contest. I almost made it a trifecta with closest to the pin, but lost out to a 17 handicapper who got his 3rd hole in one....where's the justice!
