No Pictures Please

Connor's first day of school was not allowed to be filmed... sorry Connor et. al. The dude did really well and seemed to enjoy himself right from the beginning. Mom did a pretty good job keeping it together, but was ready to break Connor out at the end of the day. The good news is that he was all smiles and giggles when we got there. Connor thanks everyone for their thoughtfulness.

Peanut Post: Goin to School!

I get to go to school tomorrow! I've been telling Rupert here how excited I was to meet some ladies and learn new things. Rupert on the other hand says he will miss me. Don't worry Rups, I'll be home before you know I'm gone and we'll meet at the Elephant Bar (changing table) for some catching up! P.S. - I love you too Mommy and will see you very soon!

Peanut Post: Papa and Nanny

Papa and Nannie came to our house to give me some Christmas presents and see me! We had a dinner (I was a little fussy) and then I got to have Nanny help with my bath! Meanwhile, Papa was keeping my sisters entertained. Thanks for my clothes and ornaments Nan and Papa!

25 years

The hurricane that passed through this summer took it's toll on some of the softer trees in the neighborhood. This one is right by our fence and the back half split off of the tree. They marked it with an X and these fellas took it down. All that is left is a stump and we'll see when that get's done.

Xmas Gifts Hard At Work

Christmas was good to everyone in the Lauchard household and we were all very thankful. While I am unsure as to how the missus and the stud are using there gifts, here is a quick recap of what has been put to use so far from Dad.

Before you can start boozing, it's usually helpful to do a little physical activity. Thankfully, I got a nice new pair of running shoes as a gift and have put them to use 3 days in a row.

Now that the running is finished, we need to get some work done and that requires just a little booze.

Then the Leatherman got some work finding the override switch on my car replacing the brake pads and brake light switch in the car, pulling staples out from the Christmas lights, undoing screws to replace batteries in Connor's toys and cutting some pull ties.

Of course all that work on the car is bad on my hands, plus the booze in the first picture is really cold, so I needed some pretty solid work gloves. Check!

What else can I do with those work gloves? Well it has to be something outside, so I better find out what the temperature is...check!

Well, it's cold, but I can handle it. So I figured how about I clear a bigger path for the missus so that she can get Connor into the house a little easier...check!

Is it time for lunch, dinner, breakfast? Who could possibly know? Well I can with my brand new garage clock!

Thanks everyone for all of these great gifts and more that haven't been put to use quite yet.

Mackenzie says....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Avery says....haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Peanut Post: Thanks to my God Mother!

Captain's Blog: Little Shin Dig

We headed over to Jay's house to enjoy his new keg-O-rator and some pool and corn hole. It is quite the setup and we enjoyed the hospitality. There are some pictures that would have made this story more 'clear', but alas....we have to leave things just a bit 'muddy'.

Hangin with Mr. Miller

The day after Christmas brought with it some tile grouting, a car ride for Mattie, warmer weather to do some hunting, and of course the occasional December thunderstorm. So what do you do when that happens? How about some relaxing with friends and a little indoor cornhole...sounds good to me!

Oh Betsy Cow, Please Come Home

We can now relax...after quite a while hanging out with the wrong crowd, the rogue cow was finally corralled and subsequently returned to where she belonged. Welcome home Betsy Cow!
